Athletes’ Accident Insurance is intended for Bulgarian and foreign athletes under 65 years of age.
What risks does the insurance cover?
Basic coverage
- Death as a result of an accident that occurred during competitions and training;
- Long-term disability as a result of an accident that occurred during competitions and training.
Additional risks
- Death as a result of a domestic accident;
- Permanent loss of ability to work due to domestic abuse;
- Temporary loss of ability to work due to an accident that occurred during competitions and training;
- Temporary disability due to a domestic accident;
- Medical expenses and/or repatriation as a result of an accident that occurred during competitions and training;
- Medical expenses and/or repatriation as a result of a domestic accident.
What is the object of insurance?
People of up to 65 years of age can be insured.
Where is the insurance valid?
The insurance is valid on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria, unless otherwise agreed.

How to get your compensation?
Upon occurrence of an event of an accident, the insured fills in a notification in order to establish the circumstances of the occurrence of the insured event.
The compensations are paid within 15 working days from the presentation of the last required document.
