Accident and Illness Insurance is intended for individuals who may take out individual or group policies against events related to the life, health or physical integrity of an individual.

What risks does the insurance cover?
Basic coverage
  • Death caused by an accident or an acute illness;
  • Permanent incapacity for work due to an accident;
  • Permanent incapacity for work due to an occupational or an acute illness;
  • Temporary incapacity for work due to an accident;
  • Temporary incapacity for work due to an occupational or an acute illness.

 

Extended coverage
  • Medical expenses due to an accident, an occupational or acute illness;
  • Daily allowance for hospital stay due to an accident, an occupational or acute illness.

 

Additional coverage
  • Expenses for medical transport;
  • Repatriation as a result of an accident or acute illness.

 

Where is the insurance valid?

The insurance is valid on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria. The territorial validity can be extended abroad with an agreement with the insurer and after an additional paid premium.

 

Who is the insurance suitable for?
  • Persons over 14 years of age up to 69 years of age /inclusive/ are insured;
  • The person subject to insurance must not have a loss of or reduced working capacity of more than 50%.

How to get your compensation?

Upon occurrence of an insured event, the insured fills in a notification in order to establish the circumstances of occurrence of the insured event.
The compensations are paid within 15 working days from the presentation of the last required document.
